Kennesaw State University: Home to Georgia’s No. 1 Executive MBA Program

Where ambition meets action and weekend learning leads to lifelong career success.

Balancing career growth with personal and professional development is a challenge many ambitious professionals face.

Kennesaw State University’s Executive MBA (EMBA) program offers the perfect solution for those who want to advance their business acumen without putting their careers on hold. Ranked #1 in Georgia and #3 in North America by CEO Magazine in 2024, the EMBA stands out as a top choice for professionals ready to take their careers to the next level.

Designed For Success. Managed For Time.

The program’s motto, “What you learn on the weekend you apply on Monday,” encapsulates the goal for students—not just to acquire new business skills, but to apply them immediately in real-world situations.

With a roster of successful alumni, the 19-month program offers a relevant curriculum focused on strategic leadership and practical teamwork. Housed in the Michael J. Coles College of Business, the program features dedicated faculty with vast experience and expertise. The weekend-only, once-a-month meeting format allows students to continue advancing in their careers during the week while attending class monthly. The newly launched HyFlex model allows students to attend class either in person or synchronously online, enhancing the program’s convenience and flexibility.

Additionally, students benefit from the support of their cohort. Throughout the program, they work in teams of five to six, carefully selected to represent a diversity of experiences and perspectives. This team-based learning promotes collaboration, decision-making, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurship—essential skills for any successful leader.

Leadership is the Core Value

Beyond imparting knowledge, the EMBA program is deeply invested in personal development. Throughout the program, students uncover their strengths, define their goals, and refine their personal brand. Whether it’s mastering negotiation techniques or developing innovative strategies to grow a business, each student graduates as a more confident, capable leader with a clear vision for their career.

Robust Support and Resources

Offering flexible learning opportunities to students is something the program’s leadership team is extremely proud of. Students benefit from countless networking opportunities, Atlanta’s vibrant community, and proximity to 15 Fortune 500 companies. Kennesaw State University’s strong connection to the dynamic business world, coupled with the faculty’s commitment to hands-on support, sets its EMBA students up for success.
